What is Clinical Pilates?

Pilates 2_edited.png

Clinical Pilates is a modified form of traditional Pilates exercise used by physiotherapists to help with the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries.  Clinical Pilates with a Physiotherapist combines their clinical knowledge with the benefits of modified Pilates, ensuring you exercise in a safe, effective way to strengthen your core, improve your posture and help prevent future injury.

Clinical Pilates uses floor-based exercise together with resistance bands, balls, the Arc, rollers or weights to allow you to develop muscular strength and control, improved balance and mobility, and better posture.

Laura places great emphasis on the accurate assessment of your condition in order to design a programme that specifically targets your areas of weakness, to improve function and efficiency, and reduce pain.

Just like your body, your Pilates programme should be unique
